DIY Dip Dyed Basket

My pal over at Wayfair invited me to take part in a crafting problem and despatched me a plan basket to DIY as I please! I picked a basket that was made from a braided wool, and knew I needed to attempt a dip-dye method. To dye it, I stuffed up a plastic storage bin with water, vinegar, and fuchsia dye. Then I dunked the basket in and let it sit  for about 4 hours till I received the colour I needed. Then comes the toughest half, ready for it to dry! I hung the basket over the bin and let is drip dry for an additional a number of hours. After it dried utterly, I used the rinsed out bin and refilled it with water to dunk basket in and wash out among the dye and totally set the colour. The result’s a very fairly pink colour with a contact of ombré fading on the edges. The basket is the right measurement for gathering our ever-growing shoe pile within the bed room, and I’m so proud of how tidy the nook I positioned it in appears to be like now!
